Vedder Park Rotary Trail

You can start out your journey at Vedder Park, located just east of the Vedder River. You can continue to the Rotary Trail by crossing over Lickman Road. Once at the end of the trail, you will be able to appreciate the view of the Chilliwack River Valley and the Mount Baker Mountains. You can also continue your walk or run along the Rotary Trail through the city center.

The Vedder Park Rotary Loop Trail is more than 20 km long, and is composed of four separate trails. It begins at Vedder Park, then ramps up to the Vedder North Dyke Trail, leading to the Keith Wilson Bridge. From there, you can take the Vedder South Dyke Trail, which winds along the Vedder Canal and Vedder River. Finally, you can head back along Wilson Road to the park’s entrance.

The Santa Shuffle is a 5km fun run and a one-km elf walk that raises money for The Salvation Army Chilliwack. This family-friendly event will feature spot prizes and other activities to keep everyone entertained. All proceeds raised from this event will be returned to the community, benefitting many local groups and organizations. Vedder Park is home to a multi-use trail that stretches alongside the river. The trail also links the Rotary Trail, the Vedder River blueway, and the Vedder Mountain historic railway line trail. Santa Shuffle

The Christmas season is upon us and it’s time to celebrate the holidays in a healthy and fun way with the Santa Shuffle on Vedder Park Rotary’s Trail. The 5km Fun-Run and 1km Elf Walk will get the whole family in the festive spirit. Organizers encourage participants to wear festive running gear, and finishers receive a Santa medal.

Located on the south side of the Vedder River, Vedder Park Rotary Trail is a popular place to spend the holiday season. It will take you through the Blue Heron Nature Reserve, Brown Creek Wetlands, farmland, and mountain views as you make your way through town. If you’re a fan of running, there’s nothing quite like the Santa Shuffle.

This 20-kilometer loop is a composite of four separate trails, beginning at Vedder Park. From there, you’ll ramp up to the Vedder North Dyke Trail, which leads to the Keith Wilson Bridge, Vedder Canal, and Vedder River.
